Location

 

After the Fox Farm is located 58 miles east of Atlanta, Georgia; 80 miles west of Augusta, Georgia (home of the famous Masters Golf Tournament); 30 miles south of Athens, Georgia (home to the University of Georgia); 50 miles north of Macon, Georgia. The drive to the Atlanta International airport is one hour. After the Fox Farm is 2 miles off Interstate 20 at Exit 113.

Madison has been described as "The most cultured and aristocratic town on the stagecoach route from Charleston to New Orleans". Directions

Atlanta area
I – 20 east, Exit # 113 Madison/Monticello Turn left, follow Monticello Rd (1.57miles), Bear right at stop sign & cross intersection onto Pennington Rd. Go to stop sign and turn left onto Dixie Hwy. Farm entrance is on left.

Augusta area
I – 20 west, Exit # 113 Madison/Monticello Turn right, follow Monticello Rd (1.57miles), Bear right at stop sign & cross intersection onto Pennington Rd. Go to stop sign and turn left onto Dixie Hwy. Farm entrance is on left.

Athens area
441 south, Turn right onto 278 toward Madison follow through center of town (Main St). At fork bear right on to 278 & 83 south, (pass Hospital on right) cross RR tracks then turn right onto Pennington Rd. Go to stop sign and turn left onto Dixie Hwy. Farm entrance is on left.

Macon area
441/129/24 north (Eatonton Rd) toward Madison. Pass over I-20, follow for 1.6 miles. Turn left onto Ward Rd (watch for this it bears left before Foodmart Gas Station). Follow to stop sign turn left onto 278/83, cross RR tracks then turn right onto Pennington Rd. . Go to stop sign and turn left onto Dixie Hwy. Farm entrance is on left.
